The USS Hornet Museum is the Bay Area’s Premiere Ship Museum, located at Alameda Point.
Come aboard and learn about this great ship’s legacy from World War II through the Vietnam War and culminating with the recovery of the Apollo 11 and 12 astronauts, the first two sets of astronauts to walk on the Moon.
Museum Hours: Open Thursday through Monday (10am - 5pm; last entry 4pm)
